The Cambridge Academy Alumni Association International extend condolences to the family and friends of Hugh Denbow. Hugh was an alumnus of Cambridge Academy; at school he was a scholar athlete. He represented Cambridge Academy in cricket, soccer, and track and field. He was an outstanding track athlete and was Champion Boy on more than one occasions at school. He represented the school in 100, 200 and 400 meters at the Inter School Sports.
Hugh Denbow attended the University of Guyana, Howard University in Washington DC and Embry University in Florida. At the universities he studied Law, Electrical Engineering, and Aviation Management. He was the former chairperson of Guyana Civil Aviation Authority and Marketing Manager of the Guyana Airways Corporation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Hugh Denbow. He was friend to many us, a scholar and an athlete, we mourn his untimely passing.
