BOOK IT is a Virtual Book Discussion where participants interact with Guyanese authors on Zoom. This event is organized by Dr. Pauline Baird. Dr. Baird is a Buxtonian who teaches at a Japanese University. She is also an author, who has published several books, such as: Wah Dih Story seh? an oral tradition in the Guyanese Village of Buxton. This is also an opportunity to chat with other accomplished writers including Dr. Frank L. Douglas, a former Cambridge Academy professor who is the author of ‘Defining Moments of a Free Man from a Black Stream’. Don’t miss it.
